In the OF, Tucker is on time with his prep step, he reads the ball off the bat well, and works behind the ball. He puts himself in a good throwing position but needs to continue to build arm strength with a long toss program. He also needs to improve his first step to the ball. At the plate, Tucker starts in an open stance, he keeps the barrel on plane to the ball, and he looks to drive the ball to all fields. Tucker needs to continue to get to balance with his lower half, hunt the fastball early, and be more aggressive with his backside when attacking the ball. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
