01/24/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Jackson, MS Tucker is an athletic RHP who is a prospect on the mound. Delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. This righty has a 4 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 77-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. Slider is hard with tight spin and short break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tailing action. Off speed stuff show potential as being quality pitches. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches, working both sides of the plate. He shows good mound presence and competes on the bump. Tucker has upside on the mound with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
