03/10/2013 - College PREP - Indianapolis, IN Tyler is a 1B that will graduate in 2014. Feet are active as he works to square balls up and displays clean hands and shows proper footwork around the bag. He needs to work on playing through balls while presenting hands out front and improve foot quickness to continue to improve defensive grade. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Garzinski shows an athletic setup with balance. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed through a level swing path. He has pop in his bat with the ball jumping off his bat when centered, mainly to the pull side. For hitting grades to continue to improve, he needs to work to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. Tyler has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
