09/26/2010 - College PREP - McKees Rocks, PA Tyler is a long, average sized, 2-way player that plays OF and 2nd base. In the OF, Tyler is aggressive to the baseball and he works behind it well. He has good hands and feet and can get rid of the ball quickly. Tyler has a high 3/4 arm slot and delivers the ball accurately to his target. If Tyler can improve his pre-pitch actions, and not fall off when throwing, OF skills can further improve. In the INF, Tyler has a good idea, a playable glove, and a good exchange. He makes plays, turns a good double play, and throws with accuracy to his target. INF skills can improve if Tyler can get his glove down sooner, field the ball further out in front of his body, and loosen his actions. Offensively, Tyler is a strong hitter with good balance. He swings in rhythm, gets good extension through the ball, and he has pop in his bat. Strong hitting numbers can get even better if Tyler can let the ball travel deeper and level off his swing.
