10/13/2021 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Tyler is a 2025 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the Arizona Freshman Fall Classic. In the field, he shows athletic actions and creates good angles. He works to center the baseball and showed ability to pick out hops. Has a clean exchange and creates momentum to his target. Made accurate throws across diamond with good carry and an arm velocity as high as 72mph. Tyler has a great attitude and was very coachable. At the plate, he hits from an upright and even stance with a high hand set. Activates his lower 1/2 in his load and has center balance. A flat barrel path enables him to hit balls consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph. During the games, he reached base 5 times with a double, a single, and 3 base on balls. On the mound, he starts square and takes a small rocker step. He has a confident demeanor and works with good tempo. He throws a FB that sits 71-72mph with good command and a breaking ball with 10/4 shape. In 5 innings of work, he threw 58% of pitches for strikes and mixed his pitches well.
