11/08/2024 - Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Select Training & Competition (HS) Tyrel is a right-handed pitcher from Parowan, UT, set to graduate in 2027, who recently worked hard to improve his skills at the Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Training in Arizona. On the mound, Tyrel showed good feel for his pitches and an aggressive mindset, always looking to pitch ahead in the count. He displayed solid control of his off-speed pitches, mixing a fastball, curveball, and changeup from a high three-quarter arm slot. In three innings of work, he struck out one batter and threw 55% of his pitches for strikes, demonstrating his ability to command the zone and generate outs. At the plate, Tyrel steps in with an athletic and even stance, ready to hit. His lower half rotation is strong, allowing him to generate power and make solid contact. However, he needs to focus on improving his timing to produce more consistent contact and become more of a threat offensively. As a sophomore, Tyrel has plenty of time to continue refining his skills both on the mound and at the plate. With continued work and development, he has the potential to become a well-rounded and effective player in all aspects of the game.
