06/21/2024 - College World Series Experience - Session 2 Tyris Eison is a lean and athletic 6ft/140 SS/RHP in the 2027 class. He recently impressed scouts with his actions at the BF Omaha experience. In the field, he shows excellent pre-pitch movements and a strong crossover step. Arm action is clean and plays at 81 velo. On the mound, he demonstrates athletic feel and is on the zone. He likes to be aggressive and is composed. Arm slot is 3 qtr and has a loose feel. He worked 2 innings and collected 2 K’s with 65% strikes. His FBsat71-2 with tailing actions. Breaking pitch has loose spin with 11-5 shape at 62-7. At the plate, he has excellent path extension and the ball jumps at 85 exit velo. In game actions, he allowed the ball to travel well and stayed in the middle of the field. Produced several quality at bats and ran the bases well. Overall, Tyris is a gifted player.

01/28/2024 - National Showcase - San Marcos (San Diego), CA Tyris is a 2027 RHP/Infielder with a ton of projectability. At the plate he’s got a good setup and delivers the barrel with hard consistent contact. Power is well above average for his age. As he generates more arm strength in the field this will give Tyris the opportunity to be a more complete infielder. Hands, exchange, and overall mechanics are outstanding. On the mound he throws 3 pitches for strikes. Balance is over the rubber, separation is on time and he has a good finish.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
