01/11/2008 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2008 Victor is the typical athletic, thin SS. His throws are easy with life, carry, and accuracy. Was aggressive to ball with his quick feet. His approach allowed his to react and move well laterally to field. Would like to see him elmininate the late glove movement. At the plate, shows balance with good bat speed that produces a line drive approach with pop. Could improve his pre-pitch load better since he has dead hands. Showed a narrow base.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
