01/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Tucson, AZ Victor is a young, 2-way player with good skills at both positions. In the OF, Victor has active feet, he presents his glove well, and fields athletically. He reads the ball off the bat well, plays through properly, and throws with momentum and consistency to his target. Behind the plate, Victor has a good set-up, a low target, and a strong arm to 2nd base. Offensively, Victor has a crouched set-up, a proper load, and decent bat speed. He gets good extension through the ball and works the ball to the opposite field. Victor can improve his skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
