11/22/2009 - College PREP - Salem, OR Vince is a strong, solid 2-way player who currently projects better behind the plate. Vince has good, soft hands, he frames well, and he shows good balance. When blocking, Vince centers the ball on his chest, deadens it well, and is quick to his feet. His pop times were as low as 2.01, his glove to hand transfer is quick, and he has plus arm strength at 88 MPH. If Vince can loosen his actions, and stay online to his throwing target, an already good C could become even better. On the mound, Vince has a good frame, good separation, and works quickly. His CB showed as his best pitch with tight, 12-6 spin. If Vince can stay balanced, and avoid dragging his arm, his velocity and stock on the mound could rise. Offensively, Vince has good balance, bat speed, and barrel accuracy. He has a proper load, attacks the ball, an makes good use of his lower half. Vince is definitely someone to follow.
