06/15/2013 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Vincent is an athletic SS/RHP that will graduate in 2015. Feet are active as he works to square balls up while displaying clean hands. He needs to play through balls more while presenting hands more out front. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Grayson shows an athletic setup with balance. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed to and through a level swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 76-83 mph on a slight downhill plane. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing a feel for. Control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will rise as more arm strength is gained. Mental makeup is a plus has he has a positive attitude and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 2 years to further develop, Vincent has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
