Official Scouting Report

11/05/2023 - National Showcase - Stockton, CA Vishnu is an OF/3B prospect who will graduate in 2027. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. In the OF, good first step reads enable him to cover ground in all directions and make routine plays. Showed good lateral range as he works behind/through the baseball with a high 1-hand catch. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 73mph. At 3B, starts with a prep step and has good body control at the baseball. Works from right to left and fields from a low fielding position with hands out front. Made accurate throws to first base from multiple arm slots. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Has a high finish and is centered at contact. Made square contact as hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 80mph. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee the 2-way prospect making huge strides on the baseball field.

10/11/2023 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic (2027) Vishnu continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Arizona FR Fall Classic. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He takes good first steps in reading balls off the bat. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Vishnu is a 2027 2B who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. At 2B, he works to center the ball and make routine plays. Does a good job of working from right to left as he keeps balls in front of him. He made accurate throws to first base from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 66mph. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an upright and even stance. Has a simple load and has a flat barrel path through hitting zone. He hit balls consistently into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 53mph during BP. He showed better from the left side during this event. During the live games, he reached base 3 times with 3 singles. Overall, Vishnu is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Fall Prospects Tournament (MS) Vishnu continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities. At 2B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

07/16/2022 - Baseball Factory Los Angeles All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Vishnu is a class of 2027 2B prospect. In the field, he shows the ability to make accurate throws. Works downhill and fields the ball out front. At the plate, he shows a simple approach and stride. Does a good job getting his knob to the catcher. Works to the middle of the field. Vishnu is a talented player who we hope to see again.

11/21/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - San Francisco, CA Vishnu is a 3B prospect who will graduate in 2027. In the field, Vishnu shows active footwork and creates good angles. He fields in a low position and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws across the diamond. Presenting his glove out in front of his body can help Vishnu field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in a tall stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and hits against a strong front side. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and sprays line drives to all fields. Vishnu can barrel up more baseballs by working through a shorter/more level swing path. With six more years to develop, Vishnu has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
