12/27/2009 - Christmas Camp and Tournament #2 Litton ran 7.38 in the 60-yard dash, a slight improvement over the 7.40 we saw from him before. In the infield, he showed quick feet and good overall footwork. His actions were athletic, and his hands were solid. His arm action was compact and he showed some arm quickness out front - which allowed his throws to have on line carry to target. At the plate, he showed a quick bat and did a good job of putting the barrel on the ball. He showed good hand eye coordination, which allowed him to hit the ball to all fields. Can work to solidify his lower body action and balance through contact, can generate more life in his swing from his legs. On the mound, he topped out at 76 with his fastball and showed flashes of a solid breaking ball up to 69. His delivery was inconsistent, mostly with his direction, and his arm action was a bit short out of the glove. Can work on keeping his front side in longer, and on getting some depth out of the glove after breaking hands. Overall, a versatile and athletic player with potential to develop further.
