11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Highland Park (DFW), TX Wesley is a RHP who will graduate in 2024. Tall frame thick build with strength present and room to add throughout. On the mound, he has some deception to his delivery and works with good tempo. Showed ability to maintain velocity from the stretch. A 3-pitch pitcher who attacks hitters with his FB that sat 71-74mph with some sinking action, a breaking ball with 10/4 shape, and a changeup that has good sinking action in the strike zone. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an upright and open stance. Good rear hip coil enables him to hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 74mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Wesley having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
