07/10/2010 - Cape Cod Training 2010 - Session 1 Will is a young (2014) two-way player at 2B plus on the mound with an average frame that shows projection as he continues to polish, firming up. Defensively, he makes the routine plays as he stays in front of the baseball. Hands work, displaying a soft glove action through a low approach but is late with glove due to feet stopping through the fielding process. Throws flash accuracy as he must get on a long toss program to aid in building more carry on throws. Offensively, he makes contact through a level swing path but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching his full potential with grades improving with instruction and adjustments at the plate. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 59-63 mph with well below average off speed pitches that need further development to be quality pitches at the next level. With 4 years to further develop, Clark has abilities with time and room to improve.
