05/28/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Will was very impressive at the BF South Showcase. He was in total control on the mound, striking out 6 of the 8 hitters he faced and showing an excellent 3-pitch arsenal. He was up to 91 mph with his fastball and pitched well to both sides of the plate. His tempo was excellent and he attacked hitters with confidence and a high volume of strikes. He complemented his fastball with a tight curveball that had bite and depth and a change that had late run thrown with fastball arm speed. Add in the athleticism of a 6.96 in the 60 and a solid LH stroke at the plate, and you have an exciting prospect with starter traits at higher levels.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
