01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament William is an athletic and talented 2022 OF prospect. In the OF, William has an active prep step and plays through the ball. He creates angles in his routes and works behind the ball. At the plate, William loads his hands back into the launch position and gets his front foot down on time. He keeps a quiet head, uses his lower half, and stays balanced through contact. Continuing to create rhythm in his body and keeping the barrel on plane with the ball will allow him to drive the ball to all fields. William will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
