12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Wilson is a coachable player who worked hard on his game during his time in Pirate City. Behind the plate, he sits in well and tracks pitches into a soft mitt. He works hard laterally around pitches in the dirt and bodies up pitches in the dirt. Transfer is smooth with accurate throws down to 2B with pop times still in the low 2's. Offensively, Wilson shows an athletic setup with balance and quiet/simple actions. He tracks pitches into the zone with good 'zone awareness'. Barrel delivery is level as he connects hitting the ball where it's pitched spraying it to all parts of the field. Swinging on a shorter/more direct path with increased bat speed will result in more power. He is a team player and does what it takes to give the team success. Wilson is solid prospect who has upside on the diamond.
