01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Wyatt continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He utilizes his quick/aggressive feet as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. He displays smooth / clean actions with hands / feet working well together through the fielding process. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/18/2022 - All-In Membership - Thousand Oaks, CA Wyatt continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities on the diamond. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind ball and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his outstanding foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At 2B, he displays fluid / smooth actions. Feet are active but needs to attack ball and plays through with his body. Glove action clean and presents out front. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn.

Exclusive College Recruiting Program Wyatt is a lean framed athletic middle of the diamond prospect who is a current performer who carries projection in his game additionally. Offensively, he uses a balanced and simple move to the baseball that allows him to get his barrel to the baseball consistently with bat speed that produces exit velocities in the consistent upper 80 MPH range and peaks in the low 90 MPH range. The swing is short and aggressive with the bat speed to catch up to velocity, but the simplicity in his load and timing mechanism will allow him to adapt to offspeed pitches. Wyatt is a versatile defender who has athletic actions on the infield with a quick first step and speed to show range as a 2b or CF prospect who has a feel for being an impact defender. The overall profile for Wyatt is a middle of the diamond defensive prospect with athleticism, tools and performance to impact a college program at the top of their order or provide impact to the backend of a lineup.

07/17/2022 - Baseball Factory Los Angeles All Star Experience (Ages 14-18) Wyatt continues to show improvements in baseball abilities at All-Star Classic. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.00 runner. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential have improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/01/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (HS) Wyatt continues to shine on the diamond. At 2B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He utilizes his quick feet well in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/16/2021 - All-In Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Wyatt is a 2B who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame thin build who should add strength as he matures. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary 2B, starts with a good prep step and efficient footwork. Square fielding position, with a low funnel, and fields out front. Keeps his eyes behind glove on back hand plays. He keeps his momentum during his approach to the ball as he works his fielding angles. Accurate throws from a 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity at 83mph across diamond. Showed good touch on DP feeds. A right-handed hitter, starts with an upright and open stance. Simple and balanced swing with ability to track pitches well. There is some quickness to the wrists with solid bat to ball skills. He sprayed line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 74mph. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him having opportunities to play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
