Wyatt is a young, athletic, 2-way player who catches and plays OF. Behind the plate, Wyatt sits in squarely and he presents his glove well. He keeps his thumb under the ball, looks it in well, and throws with a long arm action to 2nd base. If Wyatt can loosen actions, quicken footwork, and add arm strength, catching skills will improve. In the OF, Wyatt has active footwork, a presentable glove, and he fields athletically. He fields cleanly, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy to his cut off man. Added range, a quicker release, and added arm strength will improve OF skills. At the plate, Wyatt has a tall/square set-up, a square stride, and he loads his hands back well. He tracks to contact, swings on plane, and makes contact. If Wyatt can improve rhythm, shorten his swing, and use more lower body, hitting numbers will spike.
