04/30/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Phoenix, AZ Zach is a C who will graduate in 2022. Behind the plate, he shows a solid setup with efficient footwork and presents a low target. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate/on line throws down to 2B. With the bat, this LHH sets up square with fluid rhythm to load. He rips his lower 1/2 creating power as he sprays pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
