Zachary continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off a soft chest. Receiving / blocking skills show as outstanding tools that will play well. Pop times showed in the 1.95 range with accuracy / carry (88 mph velocity) on his throws. Offensively, he continues to shine through an open setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation through a balanced approach. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, flashing gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight from backside into a firm front side. Zachary has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Zachary is a C/3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. Behind the dish, Zachary shows efficient footwork and centers the ball when blocking. He sits in an athletic stance and presents a good target to the pitcher. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making on-line throws with carry through his target. In the field, Zachary shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an open setup. He is smooth to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a short swing with explosive bat speed, driving the ball to his pull side with authority. Overall, Zachary is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

Zachary continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.13 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact, showing a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side.
11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory's Fall Classic Tournament at Pirate City
Zachary continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Behind the dish, pop times showed in the 2.42 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. He shows a solid setup and presents a low target. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 70-71 mph with cutting action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a solid team player.

He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At the plate, hitting abilities has improved through a squared setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 67-69 mph with cutting action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a solid team player.

Zachary continues to show steady progress his baseball abilities. Behind the plate, pop times showed in the 2.68 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Feet are quick in gaining ground through a clean transfer / exchange. He shows a solid setup, sticks balls well in the zone, and utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive approach. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 58-60 mph. Breaking ball displays 3/9 shape with across break. He slows arm speed on his changeup, tipping off pitch to hitters. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
04/29/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Fort Myers, FL
Zachary raised defensive grades, lowered pop times, and improve velo on the mound during his last workout with the Factory. Behind the plate, Zachary tracks the ball well, he sits in low, and shows good footwork. He has soft hands, a clean release, and accuracy with pop times as low as 2.64 to 2nd base. On the mound, Zachary has a clean arm action, he works in good rhythm, and has a controlled landing with a complete finish toward home plate. Offensively, Zachary has an athletic set-up, good balance, and he loads well. He stays behind the ball, makes consistent/level contact, and uses his lower body Zachary improved both hitting and power grades to 35 and 30 respectively. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Zackary is a RHP/C who will graduate in 2023. Behind the plate, he displays a quiet body and tries to work around. He moves his feet well as he blocks pitches in the dirt and fires low throws down to 2B. On the hill, this RHP keeps his eyes locked in and delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot. He has a clean arm action and stays balanced throughout his delivery. At the plate, Zackary sets up square and gets back into a load. He tracks the ball well and keeps his hands inside as he sprays pitches from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.
