04/18/2010 - College PREP - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Zach is a catcher with a solid athletic body that is well suited for his position. Transfer / exchange is quick and efficient but needs to work on working feet more in line, gaining ground to improve accuracy. Arm strength is a plus as his throws display life and carry. Pop times show a range of 2.04-2.12 with a means of 2.07. Receiving and blocking skills show as quality tools for the next level. Offensively, House shows a solid approach, loading well as he stays back. He attacks the baseball with his hands with baseball exploding off his bat when centered. Swing path gets up hill at times as he needs to work on hitting top half, working to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. Zach has the makings to be a solid catcher offensively and defensively at the next level as he will get a lot of attention from the collegiate coaches.
